He was a crack dealer in Regent Park, one of Toronto's roughest neighbourhoods, and he always carried a 9mm. Then he got shot. The shooting led to a profound spiritual experience.   In 4Real Kenya viewers travel to Kenya with Somalian refugee, poet and MC, K'naan- The Dusty Foot Philosopher. The film follows K'naan on his first trip back to Africa to film his first music video Soobax, since he escaped the war in Somalia in 1991. While filming the video the crew meet local activist Salim Mohammed. Salim takes them to Kibera (the largest slum in East Africa).(24 minutes)
 
 
 
 
  Video Letters follows three girls who's father has been in prison for the past ten years. The film is a result of a mentoring project started in 2004 on Pine Ridge Reservation called Maza Tiopa (Iron Door). The goal of the project is to build a bridge between children and a parent who has been incarcerated. (30 minutes)
